Retaining Walls and Site Work for Terrain That Pushes Back

In the Sierra foothills, the land pushes back. Rocky soil, uneven grade, eroded hillsides, and tight quarters make standard installation approaches useless on a large percentage of properties. Sta-Bull Fence has been working this terrain since 1982. We've built the equipment, developed the techniques, and accumulated the experience to handle properties where other contractors have walked away or loaded their bids with contingency costs.

We build redwood retaining walls for sloped properties, steep driveways, and hillside lots where you need to stabilize the grade before or alongside a fence installation. We also handle rock drilling and T-post pounding in terrain that requires real equipment — not a standard post-pounder from a hardware store.

If your property has terrain challenges and you've received bids that either ignored the problem or added alarming contingency costs, talk to Pete. He'll give you an honest assessment of what the terrain actually requires and what it will take to get the job done correctly the first time.

“I used Sta-Bull Fence for a very challenging project — lots of river rock and varied terrain elevation. None of it was easy. Pete did a fantastic job.”
— Mike A., General Contractor (30 years)
